Just drove by on garden city and cambie. People just parked their cars along garden city to take videos and pics. Fire is huge!

My co-worker's wife says there's also a fire at the River Rock. She works across the water on the Vancouver side. Can anybody confirm?

I was just on Garden City and Cambie. The lights within a 3-4 block radius are all gone. Most drivers are following the four way stop procedure. Cars are parked all over the street making Garden City from two lane to one lane only. I don't recommend going there unless you really want to check out the fire, but even then, your view isn't that great because the area is blocked off.
