The beach house in qualicum....
just a weekend here feels good. No surrey-jacks playing loud bangra music at 2am; no shitty asian drivers; no drunk idiots yelling retardedly in the middle of the night...and I can leave all the french doors wide open while I sleep at night...Nothing better than the beach at your door step....and the forest behind you. I love it here.

Hot bath, preferably with bubbles or oil or something, a big glass of red wine and a good book.

Drinking a cold beer while taking a hot shower...works wonders. If it's a sunny day, I'll get up early, grab a coffee and take the dog to the beach. It's quiet, you get to hear the water and you can't help but smile watching your dog run along the beach with his tongue hanging out. Makes you forget about everything and lets you enjoy the moment.

=O I thought I was the only one who sits in the car listening to music. The look out point at Cypress is dope, anyone know other places where you can just park your car and look over a horizon?

Not really a place to relax but... For me it is jogging with headphones on. When the right song comes on and the right enough of endorphins is pumping through my system, it is almost like an ultimate zen/relaxation moment.

I love it here. | Me and friends rented a similar house last summer up the sunshine coast last summer. No cell reception, closest grocery store at 25 minutes away, it was amazing. Lake as your backyard, forest all around, all we did was lounge around and grill shit all day. Explore nature by day with friends, then party at night as loud as we wanted.
This year we rented another house by 100 mile house for 8-10 people (6 hours drive!!!!) by the end of august, and we're really looking forward to it. I wanted to go back to sunshine coast this year, but ferry costs always increases your expenses by at least 100-150 dollars per person(i cant rmb if 100 dollars ferry was for both ways?).
If you got money to blow, why dont check out this house with elevators in kelowna, easily one of the nicest vacation homes i've seen http://www.vrbo.com/284716
I know west van has some sick houses, but how many of those can say they have an elevator to the beach |

Anyways, nothing too fancy or crazy but it's close enough; heading here next weekend for my birthday with some friends to relax and take some time away from the city! Happy birthday to me! http://www.duckinn.net/
Also, went here last year for another friend's birthday, long drive to Kelowna, but once you get there, it's totally worth it! http://www.beaverlakeresort.com/ |

Warm sunny day with a nice breeze, sitting in my coupe, reclined seat all the way back, all windows open under a blossom tree (blossom tree because it blocks the sun but lets it through just a bit ) Taking a nap

I used to get that often when I ran alot. Now, like someone has mentioned, I love relaxing at the gym with a pair of headphones. Other than that, blazing up somewhere, preferably walking the dog.
