I love the raw oysters at Ebisu. It tastes just as good as expensive places like Rodney's. Ebisu is priced aggressively too. Speaking of Ebisu, I never picked up my VIP card from when Ebisu launched LOL

I don't really feel you need reservations, just drop in, unless you have more than 4 people going. |

I went to Oyster Raw Bar on Monday.
I expected the place to be small but DAYAM it SMALL!... I think it fits about 15 people, 20 if you push it to the MAX! There was also this one super awkward looking table shoved into the corner right beside the walkway haha... but the place does give off a very intimate feel. Got myself a bottle of wine that was 50% off that night, Happy Hour oysters were serving Pacific Rim which were tiny but tasty. Also got the Steamer which was lacking in flavour and not worth it at $19 a pop. PERSONALLY for Happy Hour, I would rather go Boatside for the atmosphere (can't beat a hot sunny day being on the patio while literally on Kits beach with the breeze blowing, ocean waves crashing, sipping wine & slurping oysters) or Rodney's because they have more to offer during Happy Hour and the other appies taste good too.

Eh That place sucks for oysters they were so small when i went a couple weeks ago...
Joe Fortes > boathouse.
The waiter for the entire top floor? Dislike
Super tiny oysters ? Dislike
Cramp space ? Dislike.

Oyster Raw Bar is intimate and small and maybe not the best for summer happy hours. : )

The Oyster rawbar happy hour does not offer any variety of oysters. and they are not that great beside the price. I had a dozen of the happy hour one and move on to order others from the menu. little wings taste great!!

Today... I was at Ebisu Richmond.
Oysters were sooo cheap!
But an issue was they were shucked terribly...
Each and every oyster had many small pieces of broken shell in it... I had to actually threw away a bunch of them... I wanted to order another dozen but couldn't stand all the broken shell.
