Just a word of warning though- I just started EASHL, and I'm a terrible goalie. I'm on most nights. I can also probably get another person too, but again an EASHL noob.

Yeah, All-Star is a much bigger jump this year....I usually end up tuning the skating speeds though...there's no way some of slower 2nd liners should catch up to me when I'm 5 strides ahead of them already in full-sprint mode.

Damn if I had NHL for ps3 I'd join.

But I only play it on xbox because I can't stand the ps3 controller when it comes to games needing the analog stick.

In club, you play with the same people, so it's a more consistent and generally better experience. You also generally don't play against/with idiots who shoot on their own goalie, puck hog the entire time, deliberately go offsides to piss people off, etc.

it's the same as the difference between joining a hockey team in some beer league and just joining a random, for fun hockey game set up by someone where winning or losing doesn't matter.
