They definitely fit bigger. I wear a sz 9 in the 2001 Jordan 1 Retro so I got a size 9 in the Chicago. These fit so much bigger!

Mike Oxbig 02-09-2013 12:34 AM

someone said to size down 0.5 here?

davy 02-09-2013 02:34 AM

Are you guys getting the black royals 1's? I don't know if I should get them. I bought a lot of pairs the past 3 months...

Mike Oxbig 02-09-2013 03:04 AM

Ohhh man. What a load of bullshit on Nike.com. I had a pair of Squadron Blue secured in my cart. Armed with US billing and USD credit card but issued in Canada. Nike detects that my credit card is from Canada!? Fucking pissed. Same thing with Paypal... apparently I can't change the country of my billing address.

:okay:

I should just go down and open a Macy's credit card for future launches.

Why are you ordering them from the States? I'm sure they're gonna sit on shelves here for a while.

its cheaper

Special K 02-09-2013 04:20 PM

I checked out the 13s in person. It looks pretty nice but much rather save the money for white/black ones.

The Jordan 1 BHM is pretty cool with 3M. The material is not too bad.

No one is buying the Squadrons. I was allowed to try them on. Haha

Is champs and footlocker in Richmond getting the Royal 1s? Where is the lineup spot for Nike Richmond?

Mike Oxbig 02-09-2013 05:27 PM

Richmond by the Tim Hortons entrance? Where is everyone else lining up.

Is it a free for all or what? Do people just run in the mall when the doors open? Sorry I'm new to the shoe game lol

Mike Oxbig 02-09-2013 06:07 PM

Not exactly free for all but first come for serve. Who ever is camping out, the people who comes after should start numbering themselves.

Why am i telling you my secrets i want my black royal 1's :D :troll:

JSALES 02-09-2013 09:13 PM

How bad do you think lines up are gonna be for the Black Royal 1's? My friend was supposed to hold me a pair but due to it being limited, he can't and I don't feel like camping out.

G-spec 02-09-2013 09:21 PM

When and where are the newest Jordans coming out the 28 ?
don't laugh fckers, I actually play basketball in my shoes so need this for performance reasons not just as a fashion statement... they supposed to be the best performing Jordans, well.... ever

I'm actually thinking the same. How much do they go for?

Tim Budong 02-10-2013 12:29 AM

I dont think u will need to camp out for the Royal 1s

Special K 02-10-2013 12:42 AM

Can anyone tell me why the Royal 1s are so desirable? Because they are retros of 2001? The Nike Air logo?

Its not desirable. Don't line up, cause i need my size 8.5/9.

Nothing special about it. I just like blue jordans, like the 13 Flints, Something thats not red for a change for jordans. :ilied:

davy 02-10-2013 02:06 AM

Does anyone with the Chicago 1's in a sz 8.5 wanna trade for my sz 9? Deadstock of course.

Call the online US Nike Store 1800 number. Tell them that you have a US mailing address (e.g.Tsb @ Point Roberts etc.). They will do your orders manually over the phone using your Canadian Credit Card. I bought the Kobe 8 python's the other day via this method.

I'm surprised how these squadrons sold out online already. Wait for a restock since the brick and mortar stores still have these sitting. What size do you wear ?

No one really cares much since they're pretty damn ugly and pricey regardless of performance. These Jordan's are outlet bound so save your money and buy then. If you want performance Jordan shoes and you don't care about the color, get some Jordan 2012's from the nike outlets right now (~$90). This is what pretty much everyone does who buys the new Air Jordan's (From Air Jordan 2009 onwards) that don't want any special edition or limited edition colorway.

Does it have to be Jordan's for playing ball ? Why not Kobe's or KD's ? Kobe 8's are the best ball shoes I've played with ever.

G-spec 02-10-2013 01:03 PM

^ that's gonna be his flagship model and you think they're outlet bound ?

I have close to 10 pairs of basketball shoes that I use currently, all of them high end performance oriented, I have a few LeBrons, few Kobes and few Durants etc...... I'm picky when I buy basketball shoes as I want the best performance out of them, don't care much about how they look.
These new Jordans from all the reviews by NBA players, and Jordan himself, from the stuff I read about them so far, it looks like it's bound to be the best performing shoe when it hits the market.

The reason you think your Kobe's are the best shoe is because of that super comfortable insole. There's a lot more than just a comfort to a performance shoe, I like the Kobe 8's and they ARE super comfy with that insole, but they lack in other fields

Special K 02-10-2013 02:52 PM

Aren't the XX8 $250 usd? That's going be $300+

I think these will be all gone by release date. Since local retailers might just have a size run. You will be stuck with an ugly shoe if it doesn't perform to your expectations. Jordans are final sale (supposedly).
