I use Amsoil on my built motor, no complaints and price is reasonable.
I just use Syntec for my daily, mainly because you can get it cheap at Costco every now and then, which allows me to change the oil a bit more frequently without raping my wallet.

Canadian Tire and Walmart (Vancouver location does not carry it but most of the other ones do.)
It's on sale right now @ Canadian Tire - $7.47/L! Good until June 16! Oh, and FYI - German Castrol is a Group IV true synthetic and only available in 0W30.
Mobil 1 Extended Performance is also a Group IV true synthetic as well according to the folks at BITOG. I've seen it for $28 and change for the 5 quart jug (4.73L) at the Walmart in Bellingham if you happen to be down that way.
personal favorites are redline and rotella. ive only heard good things about motul.
about a year ago i tried royal purple, mobil 1, castrol, redline and rotella and got a blackstone analysis done on each. redline came out on top for my engine so ive been using that since.
