I love how they just released the 'Shaw Plan Personalizer', then dropped the ability to remove the TV package. Some great personalization right there.

Shaw just called me today. - My High Speed Extreme is turning into a Broadband 50 plan
- They will be sending a service tech out on monday to do stuff
- I get some sort of Shaw HD TV trial with it, didn't ask too much about that.
- It's going to cost me $50 instead of the $59
Thought you guys would want to know. It sounds really too good to be true.

they're forcing you to change??
look in the computer tech thread a couple guys who are on broadband 50 are getting the same speeds as when they were on Extreme (which in some cases are slower than others with extreme)

Bandwidth 25 -> 50 Mbps
Data Cap 250 GB -> 400 GB
For $9 less, sounds like a bargain to me. And the speeds I posted last page, that was before the change. I don't think the upgraded plans come into effect until this month anyways.
