Have to bite my lip (finger?) when I see people on Facebook saying "I can't believe we lost to a team like the Kings"... like wtf do you not watch hockey at all??? Kings always had a good team, not the highest scoring team, but with the best goalie in the league, they have a great team. They played better than the Canucks, and that's why they won.
Sorry had to vent here so I don't start a fight on facebook lol

i think they deserved to progress after 11 years, they probably feel good as hell right now! they were the better team overall and played hard so props to them. they wanted it a lot so we should be happy for them! just like if it was the reverse we would want people to be happy for our team!!
I can see arguments for Lu and AV (although all the ones for AV are stupid) but why Gillis? What? Reigning GM of the year? Put together the best Canucks team in history?
Sucks that we lost, but LA deserved to win. They checked us hard, passed with authority, and made us turn the puck over so many times it was gross. Simply outplayed in every capacity. We didn't even test Quick by bombarding with shots and traffic. Way too many attempts at the pretty play.
Fucking sucks, but we didn't have it in us this year. That was evident from game 1.

oh well. i'm thankful we gave it to la good in game 4. shook them up a bit. at least for a short period. wish we had daniel back going into the series. woulda been a different story
