CS lets in 3/4, Loungo doesnt do much better, defense lets through way too many shots as usual - this time without stellar goaltending to bail them out. Oh, and we cant capitalize worth shit.
Can't sugar coat it, our defense is fucking terrible. AV needs to get that shit sorted.

plenty of blame to go around for this game =/
i'd like some insight on this question. why is lapierre on the 4th line with weise and volpatti.
for the 3rd line, instead of manny/coho/hansen. wouldn't it be better to throw lapierre with coho and hansen and slot manny on the 4th line?
lapierre's overall game is pretty fucking good since acquiring him and if i remember correctly, he was one of the few players who wasn't a minus player during the playoffs (for the most part)

Outside of defensive breakdowns that caused many of the goals they chased a goalie that has given them so much problems before for the 2nd time this season, they had lots of scoring chances (albeit lots of misses) and overall the lines were rolling well and I'll give both Schneider and Luongo the balk for the turkey performance.
It was a weird game. Even Trotz said they didn't deserve to win tonight.
