Wow, Gagne in shootout......

kwy 02-04-2012 10:00 PM

He's on fucking fire.

MG1 02-04-2012 10:06 PM

Yes! Oilers win!

Gotta love this young team.

MR_BIGGS 02-04-2012 10:10 PM

11 points in 2 games for Gagne. Before his 8 point game he was traded in my hockey pool:

David Krejci traded for Sam Gagner, 1st and 4th.

Yeah, when I saw Raymond coming in from the right,
I thought he was for sure going to do the spinorama this time,
especially since he failed his last few attempts trying other moves.

Bruins have won 6 of their last 13 since the Canucks beat them. And 7 of those games were against non playoff teams. They went 9 for 10 before that.

Fixed

its early but who wants to see hawk vs canucks in first round playoff :D ?? I DO

fliptuner 02-05-2012 08:13 AM

Nah, right now I'm just hoping they can close a few down in regulation and generally play in better form. They just don't seem to be clicking right now. As much as people want to hate on Lu, it seems like the only thing that's really solid right now is goaltending.

Gh0stRider 02-05-2012 10:44 AM

gonna go play on rogers arena ice today, i wonder if the ice is different from the regular arenas around town.

anyone ever skate at rogers?

tonyzoomzoom 02-05-2012 12:09 PM

i was wondering why Jim Hughson wasn't calling the Toronto / Ottawa game last night. Was hoping that the CBC didn't like his western bias and had reassigned him permanently to calling Nucks games or something like that ...

but he's actually calling the winnipeg / montreal game today :(

krazynuck 02-05-2012 12:30 PM

ice is hard and buttery smooth. make sure u sharpen your skates to take advantage of good ice. and also, it is very warm compared to all the local rinks. you'll be sweating extra

I watched that. I can understand why Burrows was pissed. Once he was on his back and S.O.B. kept Burrows face covered, he flipped! I would of done the same thing. +1 for Burrows sticking up for himself. S.O.B is sometimes a d**k

We rented the ice a couple years ago.
The ice is very fast! you can tell the difference. But, the ice is soft at the same time? I don't really know how to explain it.

They will also zamboni the ice half way through your session. So it'll be all good the whole time.

I think the best part for us was parking in the underground and changing in the changing room. You don't get the Canucks change room, but you get to change in the same rooms as the away teams.

Commentators fucked up. They meant Potter got 4 mins for roughing for going after Kronwall. Marc Lee and Kevin Weekes are just turds with no journalistic merit.

chun 02-05-2012 06:23 PM

^ Still about the same now.

I thought the ice was pretty solid and pretty fast. Definitely need freshly sharpened skates to fully enjoy it!

DanHibiki 02-05-2012 06:26 PM
