Glad they didnt lose the shutout in the last couple minutes like they've done so many times in the past.

Yup........... I was thinking same thing. Then go into OT or shootout and losing.

That trend is now over.............. a la Burrows stick breaking.

Helps when opposition is limited to 7 shots on goal in the 3rd.

Lol at the stoner references on sportsnet

How many giveaways for Raymond in the 3rd period alone?

I'm also sick of hearing about him "losing an edge"

Still not bad for a guy who almost had his body snap into two.

Not really racist! 03-01-2012 08:37 PM

so good!

MG1 03-01-2012 08:43 PM

Garry Valk talking about Kassian giving the Canucks some courage. That is so right on. Lappy is like, "I'm lovin' it!" When you have a tough guy on the ice, it has a positive effect on everybody.

pastarocket 03-01-2012 08:49 PM

It was a good playoff style victory for the home team. Vancouver played well defensively against a stingy St. Louis game. Luu played particularly well in the first period when the Blues were out shooting Vancouver by a wide margin.

It's these tight defensive games that the team must win in order to be successful in the playoffs. -starting to see some chemistry build up between Lapierre and Kassian.

Ten hits between Lappy and Kassian. -liked seeing Henrik hit that bum Sobotka near the end of a shift. Then Kesler hits that player back to help out the captain.

Now that is what I call sticking up for your team mates. Canucks aren't taking any crap from anyone!

xeryusx 03-01-2012 08:52 PM

It used to be JUST Lapi runnin around taking the body. But with Kassian in the picture, the Bash Brothers indeed! Out of the team, I'm fast becoming a Lapi fan more and more. Hopefully with Kassian on the ice, Lapi steps it up even more.

Waiting for full highlights of the game :alone:

Obsideon 03-01-2012 08:57 PM

Kassian is pretty solid, good hits, lots of scoring chances. It'll just be a matter of time until he buries one. Also can't wait soon enough for him to level someone (a la Chris Neil to Boychuk)

If Kassian can do that to Marchand, this CoHo trade will have more than made up for it!

I cannot wait until the Canucks plays the Bruins. Until that rat bastard Marchand tries his fucking antics. The team is looking like a better version of last season's. Not as much skill but definitely higher on physicality. GADDDDD I love hockey.

I also can't wait for the people that doubted the CoHo trade to convert and "believe" in MG again :)

This has been probably discussed to death and I apologize in advance guys but..

I'm looking at picking up tix for Sats game w/ Buffalo off of craigslist..some advice on how not to get scammed?

kwy 03-01-2012 09:41 PM

Meet up and exchange in person. Pretty obvious, but if you get a response involving online money transfer then tell them to f off. I must have hit about 6 scammers before I finally found legit tickets for the last Leafs/Nucks game.

They're often season or partial seasons tickets, so if thats the case it's ideal to see them get ripped off the book. Take a look at the tickets and compare them to old stubs or something to make sure they look legit.

Gh0stRider 03-01-2012 09:54 PM

lol at devin setogutchi shootout fail

woob 03-01-2012 09:57 PM
