i have nike shox, so ill give you a review. in my opinion, its a nice design. i always wanted one. they are around $130-180, so they are quite expensive. but thanks to my friend's friend, she worked at champs so i got 50% off employee discount that day. but omg, they are terrible shoes!
they are big but too snug inside. there is no flexibility. i can drive with my big bball t-mac5 (theres a photo on earlier post) better than those shox. only things good about those shoes is it looks nice when walking and easy to put on.

Ugh... I'm debating whether or not to get a pair of summer edition achilles..... I already have the OG white lows, but the gumsole with white perf leather is so nice :O
Guys quick question how durable are suede shoes?
I'm looking at picking up a pair of suede loafers, I like the look of the suede but was worried that they would be hard to maintain/keep clean and wont last as long as a pair of leather loafers.

Thoughts guys?
I have a pair of suede DB's from clarks and I have to say they've held up a bit better than I expected. That being said, I like how suede wears out and still looks nice when its beat up, but that is just personal preference.
There are various different types of protectors and even kits to clean and maintain suede if you like it looking very 'new'
if they are full suede and not nubuck, then you should probably take care of them well.
spray them with protectant and dont ever wear them in the rain.
you can use certain types of brushes to restore the nap if it starts to look glossy.
so i'm onto about the 5th oil in about 5 months. Had them out in the sun this past weekend for about 30 minutes then oiled them, it's hard to tell from the picture but the color of the leather now is more dark chocolate than the original red leather color, they are coming along pretty fuckin sweet:
out of the box brand new:
hmm didnt realize the contrast in pictures isnt great, but when i saw them once the oil had sunk in i was like "wow wtff.. is that dark"

Question for you guys...I'm looking for a pair of Chukkas that I can wear w/ a pair of Khakis and dress shirt to a meeting and then w/ a pair of jeans to a night out.
Thinking that brown will probably be more versatile than black
any particular brands that you guys recommend? want to keep it under $300.
Fuck after wearing nothing but Nike P-Rod versions for the last 7 years, I have to give up on them...
First I bought a pair of P-Rod VI
The back of the shoe digs into your tendon, and it hurt like hell after just an hour of wearing them... Sold them on ebay, luckily for a good price since they were essentially brand new
Then I got some P-Rod 2.5
Tried size 11 in the store, they were too long.. As usual with Nike SB, I am a 10.5. So I ordered a 10.5, and holy shit they are narrow! Just crush my pinky toes...
So I guess I'll have to sell them on ebay. These are a bit more used, been wearing them for a week.
I don't know what happened.. I had the P-Rod 1, 2, and 3 and they were all so comfortable and so durable (hence I only had 3 pairs of shoes in the last 7 years)
But now they suck.. back to normal Nikes for me I guess
