Got traffic circle one wrong. lol I've never seen a multi-lane roundabout in Vancouver.
Also, the roadsense book I used to pass my L (2004) never talked about it. Only the newer editions had an extra section on multi-laned roundabouts so yeah not my fault.

There's one at the intersection of 16th Ave and Wesbrook Mall at UBC. :p

^ you have no idea how many "almost accidents" i've seen as a result of the mix of students who pass by there everytime, and first time users coming onto campus.

It's a stupid design and I don't understand what they couldn't have stuck with the intersection

I really like that question that asks what should you do when someone else wants to cut lanes. DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO STOP THEM.

Don't get me started on the various stupid things they've done to limit/hinder car traffic to UBC...

That's kinda sad... Stay off the road, people! I don't want you crashing into me!

...only I'm allowed to crash into people!

17/25. sleepy and didn't feel like reading is my excuse.:troll:
but the one about the pedestrians walking on the road without a sidewalk... how are they supposed to walk facing traffic? shuffling sideways isn't really a natural way to walk.

That makes sense actually.
If you walk on the right side (in the same direction as traffic) cars will be coming up behind you and it can be dangerous as you can't see them and they don't know that you are aware of them.

If you walk on the left side, facing oncoming traffic, you can see cars approaching and they can see that you're aware of them in case they need to pull over or turn into a driveway for example.

No, they are not saying you should walk sideways facing the centre of the road :lol

Alatar 07-27-2011 07:19 PM

Your score: 25/25

You did better than 96 per cent of those who took it today.

Only one I wasn't 100% sure on was the first, but I went with what the officer tells you to do, rather than stopping first.
