right, i know that. however without knowing the details to the situation and road conditions PLUS the other options were not viable options... waiving her by might be the better choice.

I was taught that as well. You shouldn't encourage j-walking by slowing down.

Just looked it up on ICBC's website and it says slow down and prepare to stop if they do walk out, but do not stop on purpose and waive them by.

Anyone who didn't get 25/25 on this probably shouldn't be driving.

Just because you get 25/25 on this test doesn't mean you're a good driver either.

Seriously: Who the hell applies ALL of these rules to the T every day anyway? Only a robot could.

Sure, some rules are more important than others, but tell me you've never sped up to prevent someone from moving into your lane.
