22/25
You did better on this quiz than 49 per cent of those who took it today.
:okay:
Damn, 1st question, round about question and the reading comprehension fail on passenger + Tv

hk20000 07-28-2011 07:09 AM

For the TV one the catch is how they worded the damn question:

"Which of the following is FALSE"

therefore

"It is illegal for passengers to watch TV in a moving vehicle"

is FALSE.

Therefore that's the correct answer.:fulloffuck:

25/25 bitches!

That question where it asked, 'if another car is trying overtake and pass your vehicle,' i wonder how many people answered "do everything in your power to stop them" hahaha

Blame would be on the other driver cause the cop told you to go.
Keep in mind don't trust the construction workers cause they have no legal authority. If they say go and it's a red, the accident is your fault and you get a ticket for running the red.

22/25 some questions are tricky, but many of them are common sense...

b0unce. [?] 07-29-2011 09:57 PM

23/25

got first one wrong and that question about backing out from a driveway with a sidewalk.
i picked the answer "be prepared to stop, continue if no hazard is identified." maybe i just misunderstood the answer lol

edit: i remember when i took my L test. most of the questions on it were so retarded, nearly all them were situational, it was impossible to get the correct answer without factoring in all 1234653413214658132167874 possibilities that might occur in real life.

"if you see an elderly woman crossing the street jay walking (there's a picture of a woman with 1 foot on the curb and taking a step onto the road) should you:"

a) stop suddenly
b) pull over
c) slow down and waive her by
d) speed up and scare her off

can you guess what the correct answer was?
the answer is in the spoiler

Spoiler!

jello24 07-29-2011 11:03 PM

20/25...
Cop and stop sign question, moving and accident, and multi-lane traffic circle got me...

20/25, i had no idea about the traffic circle one

LOLOL for TV one, I knew it was prohibited coz my new car has a dvd system and I cant friken play a dam movie while driving. Nor can I use my GPS while driving. STUPID. I have to pull over every single time, set the car in park mode, whenever I wna set a new location on my gps.

spoon.ek9 07-30-2011 08:14 PM

24/25 i would have had all 25 if i had listened to my initial judgment on that one question! :/

dangonay 07-31-2011 08:28 AM

3/25. I know how to drive and don't need some fucking test to tell me.

MWR34 07-31-2011 06:15 PM

That's kinda sad... Stay off the road, people! I don't want you crashing into me!

...only I'm allowed to crash into people!

Me too! Old guys FTW!

Makes you understand Vancouver drivers a bit better now doesn't it... seeing how most people here can't get a perfect score on common sense shit.

Spoiler!

Did you know, if you waived her by during a road test you would fail? This is because you don't know the other road conditions and it may be unsafe for them to cross.

The best course of action during a road test is to slow down and come to a complete stop.

Mr.C 07-31-2011 11:00 PM

25/25. Hooray for traffic circles!

AzNightmare 08-02-2011 08:49 AM

I still don't understand #8...
There's plenty of minivans and suv's with built-in tv's.
It said passenger, not driver. Or is this some kind of trick like a passenger = driver?

I actually don't mind #1 all that much. Only because I would think of it as
if there was a red light and a traffic cop is in the middle instructing you to go,
you would go.

Oleophobic 08-02-2011 09:04 AM

:facepalm::fulloffuck::seriously:

It's been explained many times in this thread already.

the roundabout and TV one got me. cant remember the third

seriously who gives a shit if the passenger is watching tv? do they mean the front seat passenger?

EDIT: fuck my reading comprehension

Vancouver240sx 08-02-2011 12:35 PM

21/25

I got it correct but the Motorcyle stopping faster than a car one annoys me.

rich

Jegz 08-02-2011 02:23 PM

20/25 I shouldnt be driving anymore :okay:

Leopold Stotch 08-02-2011 09:45 PM

25/25, i remember the first question on my own L test and I got it wrong the first time, the question was more like " the road is blocked off and a police officer is telling you to drive onto the sidewalk, what do you do? "

same answer though.
