Is like you beat the game in normal, then do the same thing again in nightmare and then hell........ Same quest same type of monster with a few new abilities........ IMO is not worth $60..... I got it free with my WoW Sub so I don't really care but no way I will pay $60 for it.

The inflation from all the farming has pretty much ruined the game for me. Won't be playing it much anymore if at all, could give a fuck about real money auction house.

only thing that kept the game from staying alive was pvp, and tryna be #1 @ pk imo. ofc its just the start of a game with most likely plenty of patches to come, very start is always excruciating i didnt even play much till the level xploits came~

thats how this game was in diablo 2, all you did was the same bosses over and over for loot (ie. meph runs, baal runs, pindle runs, then later on came uber tristram)
all you did was the same thing over and over to level up (ie cow levels, baal runs)

this time around, they added inferno mode which made it so that you actually NEEDED to try (well maybe a bit too much, but i rather they keep it this way, its just rewarding to those that are able to do it like you've seen in vanilla wow)

no more face rolling through all the difficulties like in diablo 2 or wow post-bc

but then again, i think only the hardcore gamers or those that have played through diablo2 and vanilla wow will like what blizzard has done with the game and the "casual gamer" wouldnt like it.... if blizzard will once again favor those casual gamers, then they will ruin a good game (wow post-bc)

im waiting for d3 pvp like many others... hope blizzard can deliver

The thing with Diablo2 is that there is no AH or Real money AH so ppl have to do in game trading which made it more fun. Not to mention you don't really own your items. I remember tons of times in D2 when I die I lost my items lol. So really the items you are using is just you are borrowing it for awhile till someone takes/steals from you, and you do the same to the next person. That's what made it fun.

Now as long as you have gold(buy it through gold farmers) or use real money when RMAH comes out you can buy your way into gear.

I think is the fact that people are getting frustrated because they are grinding without getting much reward...
Not really because of the grind itself.....

The grind for reward for D2 is more much *rewarding*..
It makes you want to keep doing it.. like even if a run yield no reward...you know that the next run might drop somthing ....

You say to yourself.. 1 more run.. then next thing you know you're doing like 20~30 more runs.. !!! :okay:

But in D3 is like.. not as rewarding.. due to the fact the chance of a decent/great reward is much more rare...

i agree with happyslip about the in game trading making d2 more fun

D3 needs to bring back the lobby system

What i like about most online multiplayer games and d2 is the ability to interact and trade with players from around the world ( North America ).

I don't want to just buy new gear just so i can sell my old gear with a 15% deduction if im even lucky, I want to negotiate, which is what made diablo 2 so fun.

also.. don't know about anyone else .. but i get no satisfaction or joy from buying something from the AH even if its a steal.. or even upset when i under price something really good

The real joy and satisfaction comes after you negotiate and get away with a good deal, that you would want to tell your friends about. OR get ripped off, and cry about it all day, but at least there is some sort of emotional connection with the game.

LOL that's true I didn't know what's going on at first (frd rush my characters then just ask me to join cow level and just try not to die @@). I think i went from lvl 20lish to max level in a few hours lol. And he gave me a bunch of gear but...... yea didn't know about the multiple dead bodies thing till it was too late:okay:
