Any tips for a DH struggling with A2 inferno? Can currently do a1 pretty easily but not fun getting pretty much 1 shotted by anything in a2. Should i stack up on more vita/resists or just learn to smoke screen and dodge better lol. What stat priorities should I look for, dex->crit->crit dmg->ias?

do not stack up on more vita/resists, ur not a tank. get more dex. and find someone to play with thats a tank.

Also kinda frustrating to get insta gibbed to mortars lol

When I was starting out a2, I struggled just like you. I had weak stats, 110k DPS with SS, 40k HP. Everything one shot me in a2. Then I watched some other DH played.
The secret is to kite enemies. I'm not kidding. You fire HA into the area where you are going, even though there are no monsters. You lay Caltrops down as well, every few steps. So if there are enemies off screen, your HA will aggro them, and they will come on screen. They will then step on your Caltrops with TG and will be stuck for 2 seconds, where you can spam NT to kill them.
In short, play like a pussy. Firing empty shots off screen. If an enemy is on screen already, you will probably die very soon. So you want the early advantage by luring them to you with Caltrops in place.
Once you have enough money to get gear, it becomes easier. Do not get VIT or Resist gear. I tried that. I had 60k HP with over 150 resist all. My DPS dropped. I still die in one hit.
I'm now at 110k DPS no SS with. Only 20k HP. I die in one hit but if I play the pussy way, I don't die.
Sorry to break it to you, DH isn't a good solo character. If you are in a group then you can stand and turret all you want.

Yup hp pretty much means nothing in inferno,
I guess u can get that kinda gear ready and save it for pvp..
Inferno act 1 my wiz is at 16k, and i never got one shotted took at least 5 consecutive hits to kill me
But act 2, fck that shit
I dnt even like questing/mfing act 2 made it clear that im not playing that part again haha.

did the new patch make legendary items drop easier?
Farming again and within less than 48 hours I have found 6 legendary items.

You can try skeleton king. I think he's the easiest. Got a legendary crossbow from him. Checked the market price. Looks like it goes between 10 to 20 mills depend on dps.
