2 billion $ can purchase 2 billion sticks of Old Spice deodorant which can be donated to everyone in India. This billionaire will instantly win a Nobel Prize.

ugly house. If I was a millionaire or billionaire I'd buy myself a normal house and a bunch of cars or a mansion is enough. Don't need all that extra space, just a nice living room, kitchen and stainless steel household stuff are good for me.

So in what part off the house do you work in or have meetings in with people like Bill Gates? and what about security?

The Most Expensive House in the World Completed - $1 Billion Antilia Building (Mumbai)

How can something be a waste of money when at the end of the day you will end up making money off of it?

he is not making any money on it until he finds someone stupid enough to pay $1bil for the place... if it cost $100m to build and he is calling it a $2bil house, he just wants to make himself look better. A property is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. And lets face it, this place is in the middle of an overpopulated, stinky shithole of a place, so I don't see the world's billionaires lining up to buy it any time soon....

The perks of being a billionaire in China or India are nothing compared to Canada, US, UK, France where corruption isn't as widespread.

Also, smells like bigfoot's dick?
Grow up.

Try to build a house like that in Vancouver you would be stuck in zoning hell for years and have every hippy screaming at you. In India you could do anything you wanted.

For the price of a Vancouver crack shack you could have a nice compound in India with servants and a personal driver waiting on you 24/7.

Do you know anything about the real estate market in that city? it's nut's. Trying to find a piece of land to buy a house is next to impossible. It's so bad the government holds a lottery for land plots every year.

Cities Of The Billionaires - Forbes.com

But Mumbai, India, earns bragging rights as the city on our list with the richest billionaires. Mumbai's 20 billionaires, including two of the world's 10 richest (brothers Mukesh and Anil Ambani), are worth an average $7.6 billion

How many billionaires in Vancouver?

Edit:
India has 69 billionaires Canada has 24.

mercyboy 08-04-2011 10:54 PM

ahahah i rather buy a cruise ship aka freedom of the sea or Queen mary 2.....it's 600feet longer and it comes with a theater, maids, 4 level dinning room, a mall, swimming pool, golf course, 10,000 washrooms, etc..the list goes on at half the cost!!!!....BEAT that!!! 1 billion dollar indian house

WooooW! soooo stubborn!
Canada has 24 with a population of 36 million
India has 69 with a population of 1.1 billion

A billion more people and only 45 more billionaires :bowrofl: quality > quantity

And Mumbai, India doesn't really have much to brag about, most of the population is poor as fuck. With a few dozen frivolous rich people competing with each other over who can be more frivolous. Essentially a pissing contest

Building a monument to wealthy decadence in the middle of one of the poorest places in the world?

It's kind of ironic that he compared it to Versailles... I wonder if his wife will stand on the balcony and say 'Let them eat cake' too.

lol you are such a douche

The Size of the Middle class in India is bigger than the whole population of the USA. Yes there's a lot of poor people iN India but not every one is living in mud huts.
