You can do a special order through BC Liquor. There will be a minimum quantity to purchase. You can check their details on their website on how to order. I've done this before. |

I went to the Landsdowne Liquor Depot and they didn't have any. Apperantly they get shipments in every Wednesday. I will check it out then. Posted via RS Mobile |
Try Burrard Liquor Store 2401 Burrard St Vancouver, BC, V6J 3J3 Phone: 604-566-9244 Was there last month for their grand opening. Bought some Asahi Black at 10% off |
I went to Creekside, Liquor Barn on Cambie, and ended up placing an order at the BC Liquor store on Cambie and 39th. The CSR can't even give me a ETA. On her computer, 264 bottles are coming for various restaurants only. I guess I just missed the boat. $2.55 per bottle is what she told me. Posted via RS Mobile |

It's because you have to be older than 19 to be in the establishment. So even if your not buying anything they have to ID you for being there. It's the same as going into a bar or a club. Also when you say it's weird you see them not ID'ing children with their family, that's because they are children. |
^we understand why they can do it, but ive never been in another liquor store that enforces it so strictly. never been ID'd at the door at a BCL... and more than 75% of the time im not ID'd at the cashier either. |
Yeah, all the Liquor Depots/Liquor Barns and most other private liquor stores are more anal about ID'ing because the government sends out their own secret shoppers to audit if the private stores are actually following the ID procedures. Most of the time if the store fails an ID audit, the cashier will be terminated and the store can face a hefty fine or be shut down for a couple of days.. bad for business. The government will be a lot more lenient on sending secret shoppers to their own stores, therefore most of the times at the BC liquor stores you only get ID'd for the person making the purchase. |

I'm guessing you work at one of these places. Its not a big deal, cause I'm pretty used to it now. I was just saying... |
^ yah dude its fucking gay id'ing everyone. Its worse doing the id'ing than being id'd. |
fuck bc liq tax & liq law. |
Just something random. I love Asahi and I was just reading the label the other day and it said in the back in small print that they're brewed in China now. I thought it was "Japan's #1 imported beer?! |
