unfortunately the pne has just gotten so expensive and it hardly seems worth it to me anymore.
i'm going down to an awesome theme park just outside of seattle next weekend and for $40 you get entrance into both of the parks they have...an amusement park and a water park. And in my opinion it is far more fun than the pne. could be that the thrill of something new and exciting is just that...new and exciting. still better bang for the buck though.
it's called Wild Waves btw. all the rides are spread out through the forest. so cool.

i have a gf, who can't drive.
if i were only going with her, i am NOT down to wake up super early to beat everyone to the border, then drive for another 2 hours to go on rides me and my gf have been on at disneyland and the CNE, then drive another 2 hours back to wait in a border line that who knows how long will take.
sounds like a 14+ hour day to me.

oh he sweeps, alright.......................

a lot of dirt at the fair.

PJ 08-16-2011 09:10 AM

PNE is definately overpriced in every aspect.
But hey, once a year, it's a nice day to spend walking around and watching shows. Where else are you going to get all the disgusting delicious carnival food?
It's kind of become a tradition for us to go every year. Missed it one year and my summer felt incomplete.

Good appetizer for me.

Not worth the 25 bucks, unless you get it for free for eating it all by yourself.

for 25 bucks you can buy the ingredients and make 5 or more out of the price of one

True, but really are you going to go buy the ingredients, make it at home, and eat it by yourself? :fullofwin:

Gh0stRider 08-16-2011 03:50 PM

no, not a sweeper.

im more important than that.

that looks like 4 hotdogs or maybe just 3.

I would rather eat 4 BigBite hotdogs from 7/11 with free chilli, cheese, onions and toppings, and buy a pack of overpriced bacon, cook it in their disgusting microwave in a paper towel, and still have $15 to spare.

Gh0stRider 08-19-2011 08:05 PM

free day on monday. good luck trying to get in.

MG1 08-19-2011 08:11 PM

I do the free day thing every year. I remember free rides one year, until noon. Probably 12 plus years ago, when my kids were actually little kids.

You didn't get the sweeper joke.......... PNE is full of dirt. As in dirt bags. You sweep them up.

Anyway..............

Gh0stRider 08-19-2011 08:20 PM

i agree on the dirt bags. all the carnies were around today...GG

They all trying to be nice and shit
