I don't really understand the ranking system ... so yesterday I was on the losing side but my score was like 2:1 ratio and almost carried the team to a win, went down a rank.

Is the rank based solely on Match W:L or score or what? :confused:

lol im not buddah, i do know him tho and hes on my FL, he is the one who gave me admin. i use to be on the top 10 rankings when i played almost all the time, now its run by a few hackers / no lifes legit players haha

you probably lost a lot of matches in a row or in a short period of time?

If you get killed a lot by lower ranked opponents and lose the match you are prone to getting deranked.

If you lose by a huge blowout (ie 4-16) you are prone to deranking.

If you get lots of higher ranked opponents killed then you win the match you are prone to getting ranked up.

No idea if getting points and MVP stars does anything...these are just the general rule of the elo rating system as in chess

Been playing so much MMing the past few weeks. Trying to get better and I'm a single ak 2 now.

They've also released a new update with Operation Bravo that has several new maps.

^Operation Bravo also has new weapons case with new skins.

Slowed down the MM lately... I've been getting paired against so many hackers now :(

Kind of really want to get that AWP skin. Regret getting the AWP boom now.

Yup made by the money already by selling a case. I think you'll at least get one if you play enough and it also doesn't count towards your 4 (2 cases, 2 skins) for the week.

from my experience, you'll rank up if u get 3~4 wins more than your losses, regardless of your performance. same with ranking down but the opposite.

pretty sure your score is irrelevant. same with the elo system, it only takes your win/loss + difference in rating (ranks in this case) into account
