my cs is weired.. sometimes i join a server and it relocates me to a different one

there's a ton of them on my list... and each with different names... whats the point of doing that? pretty lame .. and mind fking lol

the closest 1.6 server that i played on two years ago, with real people, was in Toronto

Just play CSS instead. CS is so filled with fake servers (bots, redirects).

There's a couple settings you can change in your config, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. IIRC, rate 25000?

ooo you still remember them, i forgot all my settings in console lol but i did change those already to numbers i dont remember but ill give those a shot thanks

i just reinstalled source and 1.6 today
i can't bring up a server list for both games 'no games in your query' or takes forever on the refreshing server list status...are there any settings in concsole/options that I can play around to get a server list?

^^ try to jump into either game, then try to find a server in there.

I just re-downloaded 1.6 a couple weeks ago, took me forever to remember my PW to my steam account lol ...

I used to be a clan member on Unity, but that was like over 5 years ago. I don't recognize anyone on there anymore ... Everyone that plays on that server is too damn good for me now... as soon as I see someone it's like insta-headshot on me ...:gun: ... I already ragequit quite a few times lol... there's lots of new "mod" servers now like GunGame and Zombie ...didn't even know what was going on... so when I joined a zombie game I was like :fulloffuck: cuz there were monsters that resembled the Abomination from Warcraft 3 running around the map LOL! ...

I can't find any other servers... every server I try to join are full of bots or pretended to be 29/32 but when I join it, it's empty ...

I was in both 1.6 and source when i tried to find servers
out of both games i was only able to find 1 server under my History tab in source from like a year ago haha

same thing for my desktop computer, both 1.6 and css cant find any servers, but on my laptop both games works fine finding and connecting to games

the resolutions on google are also really vague..surprising for such a popular game

I got banned from a server yesterday on cs_italy because they were a bunch of fucking noobs accusing me of wallhacking (went like 31-2 on T). I've been playing CS since the fucking beta, I think I know where people hide, even after a 2-3 year hiatus from the game, and I use these things called headphones, so I can hear people when they run.

I even asked one of the guys who was accusing me of wall hacking how old he was, he said he was 16 and I was like, "Dude, I've been playing CS since before you were in Kindergarten. If you don't want to get shot through walls, use the fucking shift or control keys."

The funny thing was they banned me :moderatorban: after I shot the radio through the floor at T spawn because that was "proof." Shooting through the floor at an inanimate object that hasn't moved in over a decade = wall hax. LOL. :rofl: The other thing was that, prior to cs_italy, we played a new map that I'd never played and ended up putting up an extremely shitty score, like 14-19 or something. Yeah, I just suddenly decided to throw on the hax on italy :rolleyes:
