Task Killer's don't work, the process and service only restarts. Use AutoKiller Memory Optimizer instead.

So I went into mobi yesterday to get this plan and I was told that the service in the area of surrey I live in is pretty much non-existant. After hearing all the stories from you guys here and what the owner of that store told me, I'm not going with mobi. I need to have a service that works all the time with no hiccups.

Is this the only Mobilicity that's having this deal? I'm probably gonna check out the one on West Broadway...

ForbiddenX 10-27-2011 11:33 PM

I think I'm going to jump ship and get on this plan tomorrow before it ends.

I'm currently with rogers paying about $45 taxes in for:
300 mins
unlimited text/mms
voice mail, caller id
500mb of data
my5

resigned in january but I'll probably just cancel the data and let my parents use the plan.

I have a question about the Nexus S though, is it possible to use the ones from Rogers or does it have to be specifically for Wind/Mobi bands? Will I just lose 3G speeds or will I not even get a signal? Also, do they offer any $0 phones if I do sign up? I need to sell my iPhone 4 first before getting a Nexus S -.-

Need to use Mobi/Wind one. Won't even get a signal. And I think you can get a LG wink or something super lame.

Or you can capitalize on their 14 day return policy for phones and just be super careful in not damaging it. They don't have a lifetimer limit either so its a bonus for you. Guys at Commercial and 1st told me this so give them a call and see?

And how much are you selling your iphone for? hahaha I may be interested for the gf. PM me!

dasani604 10-27-2011 11:52 PM

Does Mobilicity have the 1 year Warranty for any phone like Rogers?

Manufacturers normally have a 1 year warranty for most phones...

So I'm not sure what exactly you're asking...?

Are you asking if they'll replace it on the spot for you?

Yea the 1 year Warranty. Will Mobilicity do the replacing for you as in you'll have a refurbished/new phone shipped to you and you ship the original phone back? This is the general method for Rogers.

Side note, would they be able to replace it on the spot?

stereo12 10-28-2011 12:02 PM

not on the spot, some stores have loaner phone programs which charge you like Rogers/Fido does,

and yes all have 1 year warranty, no physical/water damage etc etc.

Psykopathik 10-29-2011 07:21 PM

reminder, BTS promos end monday, October 31.

ForbiddenX 10-29-2011 08:37 PM

Got a Nexus S today along with the $25 plan today. Don't have too much reception issues yet but my friend told me that she's always been losing signal. Hopefully that isn't the case for me.

Didn't know they had a referral program. I would've given you the credit Turbo E if I'd known.

Psykopathik 10-29-2011 09:35 PM

They don't. I appreciate tho. :)

The referral doesn't apply to the bts plans.

Don't think you'll have an issue.

Reception is stable. If you're in an area of good reception, it won't suddenly be a dead spot. This has never happened to me and hopefully it will not happen anytime soon.

Anyone know if I can setup google voice voicemail on my nexus s? I can get all the way up until my number needs to be verified and then the verification fails.
