They're arguing about completely non-relavent things but instead of how to pronounce pho, they're going on about freedom of speech. :fulloffuck: |
^unfortuneately yes I did. I last checked the thread the day the $200 port in cred was announced. Been working so much lately haven't even gotten the time to even check Facebook. I was gonna port in this weekend because that's my only day off. W/e I guess $25 unlimited everything is still a good deal. Posted via RS Mobile |

But like mentioned, you still have 100 dollars to port in/trade! |
Oh sweet! $100 is better than nothing :D Posted via RS Mobile |

This thread by Turbo E is great and all the info and feedback from everyone most helpful. Keep it up! For the negative Nancys, hope you are happy getting robbed by the other telcoms. I for one have had it with them and changed to Mobi while minimizing my old plan till the contract ends. Remember its companies like Mobi and Wind that's forcing change in the industry so I support them. |
Stumbled across an ad on craigslist for half-priced Mobilicity plans. Spoiler! |

And it is only temporary and not for life like the BTS. |

Mobilicity isn't quite good enough for my needs yet (too many dead spots/lack of coverage areas) and I really don't want to roam in local areas either. That being said, I fully support them and will hang onto the plan/be a subscriber to their service to help them out. ;) |
They only get better so hope for the best. I will be porting in soon, after Jan. I kind of want to keep my services with fido. Posted via RS Mobile |
the only reason I think anyone stays with the big 3 is call quality and coverage. is it really worth paying 2-3 times more than Mobi users do? IMO, get onto Mobi and carry a 7-11 Speakout sim card in your wallet. No signal? switch sims. I never go out of the coverage zones so I'm good. business cell users, look elsewhere. Me: $25/mo = $300/year TAX IN. Rogers: $30/month for DATA only. add in unlimited calling, caller ID, text = $50 minimum. + $911/system access fee $8/mo almost $90+tax= $100 X 12 months = $1200 per year! You just threw away $800. if you got roped into a subsidized phone and contract for 3 years = $2400 down the drain. want to leave? cough up $200 more + 1 month service cost. how often have you been on a call that dropped and couldn't be resumed by simply calling the person back? is it worth $800/year to you? hell throw in $100 7-11 airtime for roaming if needed, I'm still only paying $400 for the year. shit i could even throw a spare phone in the car for emergecies. don't even have to swap sims. 7-11 minutes last a full year. keep it topped up (before they expire) and you can roll them over. the only thing you stand to lose by going with Mobi is: initial cost of an AWS phone, your old # maybe, some time. Hate them? go back to the big 3. no penalty...except your immortal soul.:heckno: |
Another problem is the small selection of aws phones Posted via RS Mobile |
