| bypass internet censorship (not work related)
Ill be visiting china for about a month and we all know the great firewall of china blocks everything, and i mean EVERYTHING, which mean having internet access there = no internet access. SO computer gurus, what is the easiest way to bypass the censorship and gain access to the REAL internet while im there?

I'm currently using Hot Spot Shield on a MAC. Seems to be working fine, but it does require you to download the program and run it each time you want to bypass the great firewall. It's not the best as it intermittently cuts off, but it's free  .
P.s. I'm in Guangzhou and it works fine for YouTube and Facebook.

I've been told UBC VPN works in China

I used VPN On Demand. It's free (for now) and easy to get with no bandwidth restrictions. I use it for my hulu fix. VPNOD | |
