And for those of you who are interested, I saw a lot of Touchpad chargers at Lansdowne FS for $14.99. Probably over 10 available since yesterday.
My HP.ca order for the dock and case had been ordered ages ago but never came in.

Anyone able to play 720p videos on the fly? In particular, .mp4.
I am using TouchPlayer and it plays .avi flawlessly, youtube plays 720p perfectly, as well as the TP overclocked to 1.5Ghz

Was just going to recommend that. Apparently the new v037 plays 720p videos flawlessly. TouchPlayer is good for your basic SD quality videos (.avi, and low quality .mp4).

i'm installing hp webos 3.0.2 and it saids installation will take about 15 mins..so far it's been over half an hour and it's not done yet..Does anyone have this problem?? i can't do anything else cus it won't let me

Anyone have any issues with their Photo app? The photo app is definitely not on the level as the iPads..
Loaded a bunch of photos on the touchpad, but when view the big versions, they're always heavily pixelated, as if it's viewing the thumb.

It's really easy to hit diminishing returns with tablets and smartphones. IMO there is no reason to overclock so far, other than e-peen cred.

Nope. I had problems with v034. v0.4.0 seem to have fixed HD video playback.

k im having probs with the touchpad this morning. followed all the steps from touchpadplus.com.
trying to install kalemsoft media player on overclock 1.5 and i get this msg
failed
-1: unable to run command: /usr/bin/curl --user-agent preware --create-dirs --insecure --location --fail -- show-error --output .media/internal/.developer/com ........
curl: (6) could not resolve host:cdn.precentral.net (could not contact DNS servers)
anyone have advice on how to fix this?

I have mine running very stable and consistent with the F4 Phantom kernel at 1.836GHz. I think it's absolutely essential to overclock the touchpad. It's unable to play 720p videos smoothly at stock speeds.

My touchpad doesn't display photos properly anymore, always crazy blurry, like it's the thumbnail blownup to size.
What's the deal?

I had that happen once so I shut it off. I turned it on the next day and it was fine
