In all seriousness tho, if they did that then Lois Lane died decades ago and they're creating entirely new Canon. Add to that the fact that while pople "know about Superman", they need some kind of hook into the popular version. Can you imagine the average non-fan coming in and seeing Supes being played by someone the age of Jeremy Irons?

CT is having a sale and MotoMaster 3 Ton Double Lock Axle Stand are on sale for only $20, does anyone have or had these? I would just like to know if they're dependable or they're weak material or anything that would be bad about them. The reviews on the product is mixed as well on CT. Should I get the motomasters or Certified Axle Stands that are 2Ton?

I'm also only going to be using them on cars like Lexus isx50's, MB c300, mazda 3. Doing basic maintenance (oil change, brake pad replacements, etc)

Hmm... Makes sense but the only other option is Michelin that's at CT. So if I were to choose only between the two, would MotoMaster (reg. $39.99, sale $19.99) or Certified (reg. $24.99) be better?
I know price wise Motomaster seems superior, but it can always be deceiving lol.

Does anybody have a link to the story of the police officer who hit a jaywalking female and drove over her body? I believe it happened locally and recently.

Why aren't there any conspiracies about how North Korea is where the war on the reptilian race is going on and so the media/world are kept out of the loop by coming up with the story that its just a backwards commie/dictatorship?

If it's any guarantee that they won't fail, I've used a pair of Motomaster jack stands for almost ten years now.

+1 to this, I use motomaster jack stands when doing my oil changes and haven't had any issues at all.

Quick question, I've been buying engine oil amsoil & Mobil 1 synthetic oil locally.

I assume it's cheaper in the states. If so will you get charged across the border or anything?

I realized I'm only saving like 20bucks an oil change since I get charged about ~$100 from shops and I need about 7 quartz of oil per oil change and it's around ~70-80 plus the filter. Also, any way to get deals if you buy in bulk? lol

Thanks in advance.

5 quarts of mobil 1 synthetic is about 25$usd. Here its more than double. The savings is HUGE. When I go I always buy enough for 3 changes. Saves time and money. Never been charged on taxes for the oil. If you are pulled in, I assume you just get charged the reuglar tax they charge. Well worth it, plus fill up on gas and grab a 6 pack while you're there.

Where do you buy the oil? I'm not familiar with any automotive places around the border and how far down do you go? Bellingham area or just down to point roberts?

Walmart usually has the cheapest prices. You can try oreilly auto or something, but I'm not a fan. However I did find the 1 liter mobil 1 containers at fred meyer on sale for 3$ each, this was a few weeks ago though. And I always do bellingham, I have no experience with PR. I'd imagine its more expensive.

Alright thanks a lot, I checked Target's site they only carry 1L containers. Walmart has the 5quartz ones. Time to go to the states during Spring break! Also, do you know if they sell amsoil at oreilys or anywhere else?

Very interesting read:

"The market is in a deep slump, but we get a big media blitz for Chinese New Year telling everyone the market is suddenly "alive in recent weeks with Asian buyers." Asian buyers who are looking for the same sort things in real estate that local buyers are looking for.

At the heart of the media blitz is MAC Marketing Systems. They conveniently back up their media campaign with two classic children of wealthy Asian parents, parents who are coming to town to buy them a condo for CNY.

See? The market is alive and well... the overseas Asians are buying again, are you going to be left out?

Hmmm.

Not so fast though. These 'overseas wealthy Asians' might not be as 'overseas' as we have been lead to believe."

Was at T&T in coquitlam the other day near the frozen goods/fish area and i spotted this well dressed honger (middle aged) walking suspiciously towards one of the freezers, he looked around thinking no one saw him and he hocks a loogie into the freezer.... and i gasped rather loudly in shock and he heard me and quickly moved along

(how do i know he's a honger? heard him talking to his wife)
