Swiss is good, I'd fly with them. It's better service than Lufthansa.
Swiss, Brussels, Lufthansa are all part of the same group anyways, very similar.

I'm looking to do a short term study abroad as part of my MBA program in either France or Germany later this year. The destinations I need to go to are not served by Air Canada directly (sad, I know) but instead, are better served and more economical on partner airlines.
I'm curious if any of you have experience with TAP Portugal, SWISS, and Brussels Airlines? My other options are Lufthansa, Air France, and KLM, but they are more expensive and have longer layovers than my schedule allows at the moment. My preference are with Start Alliance and Sky Team partners. One World is the lowest on my preferences. Also open to any low cost airlines. I've flown EasyJet and Ryan Air, but my experiences are over 20 years ago. Thanks in advance! | Assuming you are leaving from YYZ and crossing the pond, no to TAP cause it's a A321 narrowbody (but lisbon is a great stopover). Swiss and it's subsidiary edelweiss is good, love the bread they give out.

Yes, departing from YYZ.
Thanks on the tip for TAP. TAP has multiple flights from YYZ to Lisbon and offers a transfer to either of my French and German destinations. The issue (read as first world problem) is the layover can be long and my schedule is tight. I'm really looking to minimize travel time and maximize the limited time I have at my destinations. There's not a lot of time for sight seeing and stuff like that. The travel is purely for academic purposes.

You aren't ferrying back and forth multiple times, it doesn't matter too much. Take the plunge and if it's no good then remember next time don't fly them again.
We aren't Hehe. You aren't doing France/Germany <-> YYZ twice a month through the year

Like not being able to check in ahead of time because the partner airline has a different reservation code for you, but there's no way for you to find out what it is.

Currently, it's a toss up between the HEC Paris or GEM Grenoble Campus (this is the greatest variable.) Germany would be Berlin or Munich. There's a high possibility I end up going to both France and Germany but on different trips this year.
I was hoping AC would fly to Lyon directly but I think they don't in October. If they did, that would make it easier where I can just transfer directly to the train station and hop onto the train to Grenoble. The campus and hotel is literally behind Grenoble station.
