Where the fuk are you comparing Vancouver too? Some non-existent paradise that exists only in your brain after smoking a fatty?

You want cheap transit, lack of law enforcement, and shitty food; go live in Dehli, Caracas, or Mexico City. You will be begging to be back around those surrey jacks, rain, and 3 minute late loser cruisers faster than you can pull your free plastic toy out of the treasure chest at red lobster.

Which brings me to what I hate most about Vancouver. Losers who have never traveled to other places, have entitlement issues, and do nothing but smoke weed, work shitty jobs, and complain about how they can't afford a house in the city. (Not directed at you by the way just seemed like an appropriate post to transition from).

lack of huge companies headquartered here. if we had them, thered be more ppl, better jobs, better transit and way more fun city events and attractions

Housing price is the biggest thing I hate about this city. It's so out of line with the average salary that an average person makes.

1) The Asians that migrate here and don't teach their "culturally" disabled brat how to not be a snobby little snot who clearly doesn't know the meaning of money.

2) The wanna-be ed hardy wearing posers

3) The VAST amount of women in Vancouver that have no concept of reality and only want to have fun and live the moment. Then when 27 comes they realize: "Shit I need to get my shit sorted out" cause we all know at some point THE MILKS GONE BAD.

sonick 09-20-2011 08:01 AM

Vancouver's mayor and his bullshit eco/green policies that cater to a tiny segment of people at the expense of the majority.

melloman 09-20-2011 08:05 AM

No 24hr rapid transit.
ICBC always being a prick.
Housing market is crazy inflated.

-ICBC
-High cost of living.

Interesting... this thread is longer than the "what do you like most about Vancouver" thread.

kuruuze 09-20-2011 08:21 AM

Too many to list them all but majority of revsceners got it down.

Mainlanders and expensive EVERYTHING. Make the housing market affordable and stop letting in those immigrants that are driving up cost of living and this will be the perfect city. I guess those are the same thing though.

Psykopathik 09-20-2011 08:22 AM

aircare.

Tapioca 09-20-2011 08:34 AM

The fact that many of you are complaining about things that are trivial in the grand scheme of things (ICBC, transit, fake gangsters, etc.) basically affirms Marco911's point about Vancouverites and their provincialism.

I would say the lack of culture is a big one and of course, the lack of head offices. But you know what's the biggest thing for me? The fact that you can't talk to random people here.

because what people do best is complain; since its something that bothers them that leaves a stain on their mind

people take for granted what they love so no matter where this topic is based you'll always have a longer "i hate" list than "i love"

they'll need to go live somewhere else before they're like "man i miss...."

this thread was already two pages long before I created "What do you love most about Vancouver".

People are complaining about Vancouver not having a Red Lobster?

+1, wtf. Red Lobster is a crock of diarrhea compared to the seafood places in Vancouver.

And don't get me started on Olive Garden.

7seven 09-20-2011 09:00 AM

Only 2 things I really hate about Vancouver, our mayor Gregor Robertson and rude mainlanders/hongers.
