Sounds like a good time!

I like the idea of a photo competition, with a set object in the background like a wooden bridge or a picture of a RS sponser in the background. Then set deadlines maybe 2 photo's a week and span it out within a month and who ever has the most creative/nicest photos per week gets awarded points with a simple prize at the end of the month.

^Just an idea for maybe the first event that way there is not much planning, not a lot of hands on work needed and this way you can gauge the amount of interest there would be for future events/plans.

Flashback

For the RS Veterans out there, you might remember jACE did something like this over 8 years ago. We had some good times back in the day.

The car rally will happen early to mid May. Perfect time for it, because it will be between the Spring and Summer RS Meets.

Right now, I am workng with Tachy on getting the ball rolling. This thing needs mod approval, as I would like it to involve RS sponsors. The car rally was dscussed at the last Ikea mini meet and it looks like people are very interested in it. More later............

Keep the suggestions coming. It's gonna be a hoot!!!

I did a motorcycle scavenger hunt about 6 years ago or so, back when I had an R6. We had places that as a team we would have to get to and take team pictures with the landmark. Certain landmarks had more points and when we got back to the starting point the pictures would be tallied up and a team declared the winner. A couple bikes and minor crashes coming out of SFU but nothing serious.

If you need volunteers, MG1 count me in. Or if I can find a good partner, I'll participate too... but I'm not confident in my skills in knowing the GVRD that well or being a good navigator lol, as I do like to win!
