Oof. None, I'd try to find a used 3060 if I could.

How well do 3080s perform for modern games? My rig with this card doesn't get used much, so I'm considering selling.

I think a 3080 should perform ok at 1440p, may not be at Ultra quality but it should be powerful enough for WZ/Apex etc
I'm still rocking a 3070.

I realized running at 1440 wasn't helping things so I tried dropping it to 1080 and it's a pretty stable 55-60fps now so I might just swap the monitor instead.

Any good recommendations for a dual-monitor arm/stand? I don't need anything fancy, just something where I can simply mount to a desk and adjust the height. I have two 27" monitors and looking to reclaim some real estate on my desk. Thanks!

I am using a shitty basic one from Amazon and it works? https://www.amazon.ca/VIVO-Monitor-A.../dp/B009S750LA
You can't vary the height of the monitors, it's either both up or both down but it works for me. More room for a bigger mess on my desk.

So I'm looking to build a low to mid range desktop PC for le wifey's work PC. Looking at the CPU selection, the picking is slim! About 1/2 of the listed options are out of stock, and I am not paying $300 - $400 for what needs to be a low to mid range computer.
What the heck is going on? Why is the selection so poor? We're almost coming up to Black Friday, and in the lead up to that, selection should generally be far, far better than this.
Is it all Trump's doing again?

At this point, don't build, buy.
Either buy a refurbished business PC (check out Bauer Systems, etc/CC refurbs) or buy a cheap pre-built mini PC on Amazon.
Prices for bare parts are ridiculous these days.

Is it all Trump's doing again? | Our dollar is weak and I'm guessing some components are brought in through the US which might be subjected to tariffs (hard to keep track). When you're paying retail prices on all these components, the price adds up pretty quickly over buying a pre-built system which has better economies of scale.
If your wife doesn't have any crazy needs, then +1 for refurb business PCs like roastpuff suggested. If you're open to laptops, sometimes CC has good deals. I picked up a new HP laptop last year for $500 with a USB-dock and Windows 11 Pro. A Windows 11P license alone is already $260.

Wow, that's a good deal!
Don't forget Memory Express. I think they have a sale on refurbished devices right now. Good time to pick up a unit on the cheap!
If anyone is suspicious of refurbished units, I recently went to a supplier that specialized in refurbishing corporate PCs/Laptops, and general electronics like mobile phones. I will say that the skilled labour combined with the technology involved in the process is pretty amazing. To the naked eye, an "A" grade listed item is often indiscernible to a unit that is brand new, and parts replaced are almost always OE/OEM.

Hmm... looking into this again, OS and productivity software have actually gotten really expensive. It was only a few years ago when I built my PC, and at the time, I bought Win10 Pro (or maybe it was Win11 Pro) from PC World Software store for only $30 - $40. MS Office was like $20. The software is legit.
Now they want Win 11 Pro for $100, and Office for $150...
Fxxk that... Pre-built or refurb PCs it is.

Since Microsoft decided to sunset support on Windows 10, a lot of people are panic buying new computers/laptops, and as a result, pricing on Windows 11 and computers in general spiked.
