No a civil suit will just get me the money back and I have already got it. If I want to go to court I will try the criminal charge, though I am not that pissed any more. But if you need help, I do like hiring you as my English tutor to pump your ego.

Which dealer did you end up buying from?

BlackZRoadster 10-23-2011 07:32 PM

Sure. Send me your CV and a writing sample. I need a proof reader for my PhD thesis. You have to be qualified in academic writing. Esl level is not enough.

Both of the other two have better service. But price wise one is more willing to give you discount than the other. You can easily find out if you check them.

My English is not that good for tutoring PhD level, but judging from your English skills in your first post, you already have a very good tutor writing for you.

No I never hired anyone writing for me. My tutor is myself. So I do need someone improve it for me. I am not a PhD in English or linguistics so I do not need PhD level English, but must be good at academic writing.

apparently you're only good with amateur stuff

boostfever 10-23-2011 11:54 PM

i think i'll have better jobs lining out there with a bachelor in design. thanks for your advice though. and yeah skyline is a POS compared to your 2011 car. but i like it more than a generic bimmer.

You tutored English to ESL students in high school yet you don't know the difference between "good" and "well?"

Dude, its ESL!!!!! On a forum i just say whatever without any grammar, spelling, or punctuation

an example is, how are you doing?

I know the proper way is to say "i'm well" but i just dont like to.

i never say "i'm doing well", i just say i'm good.

Ladies, let's keep this thread clean, shall we? I'd really rather not hand out points or bans.

Who are you? Rick Kingdon? Trying to defend the dealership's image?

Even if that's the strategy OP used, what's wrong with that?
So it's okay to use Auto West or Morrey Infiniti's price as base of negotiation,
and its NOT okay to use Regency's price?

As a matter of fact, their own website states:

Don't know who he is but he surely has heard from Rick Kingdon's side of the story. I am very surprised that he almost said exactly the same thing as Rick Kingdon said when he tried to play hardball on me. Even if the story that they made up was true, it does not give them the right to forfeit my deposit.

I would be more than happy to see someone from Regency or VSA show up on this thread to discuss Regency's side of the story and let people decide what is true, but I guess Regency management couldn't care less about their reputation. They only interested in getting profit now, maybe just this month. Why should they care about the long term interest of the company?

I'm gonna go ahead and say they don't have anybody on revscene..... And seeing as this thread doesn't pop up on the first couple pages of google, they probably won't find it.

Also I just want to point out that there have been a few threads on Revscene that start out like this, everyone completely bashing company, helping out OP etc, then company finally decides to come on because someone tells them and we hear a completely different story. I'm not saying this is the case here but im just saiyan

I forwarded this thread to VSA officers who was investigating this case weeks ago. I also sent the link of this thread to gpurdy@regencyauto.com and also through their online "contact us" system:
Regency Infiniti - Contact Us - North Vancouver, BC

It is safe to say that they were aware of this thread but they just don't care about it, or chose to keep silent.
