lol after RIM's bullshit today, I'm seeing alot of BlackBerry's for sale on RS and Craigslist :fuckthatshit: |
People need to get a fucking grip and realize they can still live without BBM working for a day  |
Holy balls! You guys couldn't use your proprietary messaging service for a whole day?! Did you have to resort to regular text messaging like poor people!? OH THE HUMANITY! |

I have friends who bitch about it when its down for less than an hour. For fucks sake!! |

Not everyone on your BBM list, is in your contact book. And it wasn't just BBM that was down. Facebook, Twitter and emails weren't sending/receiving/updating :okay: |

Think of the downtime as a little vacation from being a slave to technology :fullofwin: Also, BIS seems to be working again (Telus). 107 emails just came in  |

don't forget ALL data goes through blackberry servers. love my 9900, hate the haters who keep shitting on blackberry. Heres what I understand. I think RIM is making an Android Blackberry. A phone made by blackberry that will be running android. So you will get proprietary apps like BBM and enterprise, but you will also get the ability to use apps. Personally if they make a phone like the 9900 dual core, with flash and BBM. HEAVEN. Honestly, for once blackberry actually made a good phone with the 9900, and it does everything I want it to do. Good browsing, act like a phone with good social apps. Don't need to waste my life on games. Too busy. I hope they use this as the step up and continue the good work. Also I hope all the android fags that invade every thread die in a fucking fire. noone gives a fucking shit if you can overclock your phone. EVERYONE TO THEIR OWN. |

EVERYONE TO THEIR OWN Im like u..dont waste time on games the 9900 is alright if u ask me... I thought I couldnt live without a berry then i adapt to live without it. SURVIVAL TO THE FITTEST SIR :nyan: |
Nah not hating the android people. Too many friends who keep telling me how much the BB is shit cause it can't play good games. They just gotta admit that the 9900 is a good phone. Why does it need dual core? It doesn't, it's unnecessary. My only complaint is battery life is LOL. But I really do think an RIM android phone is coming. And it will definetly be RIM's best selling phone hand down. |

It all depends on your personal use of course. For you, I don't know what you use your phone for or whether you've loaded a lot of stuff on it...But I can tell you that while comparing my iPhone and Android phones, games aside, just the productivity side, my Blackberries have failed to perform as well. Simple procedures like looking up a song on Shazaam take ages to complete. Shitty processor and lack of memory are definitely hindering the 9900's ability to perform simple tasks efficiently. |
everything seems to be working for me except facebook... dunno why.. not really a big deal. at least everything else works. oh and my score mobile app doesn't work :( |
I think that as an investor, the only chance for me to buy RIM is that if they announce they are splitting up, having one concentrating on hardware and another on services while working cooperatively to bring the best experience. They should go after the huge enterprise market out there. Provide them services secure enough while being platform independent. So corporate would be interested to use as they would be able to access their data anytime, anywhere, on any device. iOS is thriving of apple and its ability to integrate software/hardware, android for being open and integration to google services. But not one company thrive in the enterprise market as RIM, but if RIM doesn't change toward that direction themselves, others would pick it up. Just a matter of time. |
Everything's back up for me as of 9AM. Bell network. |
