Anyone else just see the ass from Occupy Vancouver who interrupted the CTV reporter trying to do her story? Where the fuck is that idiot getting 9/11 from? That guy is a "microcosm" of the idiocy that is Occupy Vancouver. They need to bring the wood NOW.

He really isn't. I was at OV on Saturday. Those 9/11 nuts have a booth set up there and there was about 8-10 people sitting around it, discussing 9/11 conspiracies.

And there were probably about 20-25 other people in the entire camp that I could see.

i was downtown earlier. basically they were blocking the area in front of a starbucks and sitting in the middle of intersections yelling at people to "realize the truth". some kid yelled at them to stfu and then they reacted like a bunch of idiots. i guess they dont realize sitting int he middle of an intersection pissing everyone off makes more people hate them

so is it over? was walking back to the office from lunch to continue being the 1% when i noticed that they were clearing the area out. the porta pottie company came in and a dude loaded four porta potties on a truck in like five minutes and drove off. it was badass.

The courts are apparently owned by the province. It will be interesting to see what happens now that they're blocking space that people actually like and want to use, rather than the protest-space.

Good point. Patience is already short, and because they're using actual public space is just going to hurt them more than they already have so far.

Again, what connection does Occupy Vancouver have with Occupy Wall Street besides the name now? After a month I've completely lost sight of OV's ADD-addled purpose.

Watching that video posted on post #230 made my blood boil. Not because of the arrest, but because of the woman in the wheelchair waving that stick around the officer's face. If the officer had done anything, the OV group would be crying foul and saying the officer is abusing a disabled woman.

I really wish they could just hose the people out, or send them to some remote island where they could protest for however long they want.

Gregor the idiot actually had the nerve to say it's not his problem now because Occupy is on Provincial property. If he dealt with it 3 weeks ago it wouldn't have been anyone's problem.

As pissed I am at Gregor over his lack of action regarding Occupy, I'm even more pissed at the BC Teachers Union, Hospital Employees Union and CUPE for financially supporting Occupy Vancouver and donating wood, tents and supplies to these morons, what an embarrassment.

Enough with coddling these druggies, trouble makers and morons and letting them pack up camp just to move to another location. Time to go in seize their tents and structures and trash them or burn them like they have done in other cities.
