| Kava
Anyone on here know about Kava? We have a big Fijian community here, can you guys tell me about it? Where can we get it here? Do they have an instant version like coffee? Experiences?

Just go to a vitamin store and buy some caps. Natures Way in the purple bottles are the best standardized extract, but expensive

Sorry forgot to mention I've had the capsules before but I didn't feel anything. Have you had the real thing before and got pretty much the same effect as the capsules?

No I have only tried the capsules, and they made me very sleepy.. but this was a long loooooong time ago. I know I prefer melatonin for a sleep aid.

^drank it while i was in fiji
pretty much makes your mouth and legs numb. in some cases if you drink too much you end up getting dizzy/throwing up
there's this pizza place by 49th and vic owned by some people from fiji, im sure if you drop by and ask for a pack of kava they'll hook you up.

Long term its bad for your health.
Its actually illegal in Canada. Cops pulled people over and they were "high" but the breathalyzer couldn't catch it. They eventually caught on.
For those who don't know its a root that you grind into powder then mix with water and drink. Here is a pic of a tanoa which gives you an idea of what it looks like.
It just looks like muddy water.

Sounds like they are saying it's not ok to sell but ok to have? I never did finish law school.
I mean I never went.
