Depending on your answer, i might accept your labeling as "ignorant", but you might also need to eat it back up.

p.s. CKNW 980 said russ baker way is now open to traffic
Yes, you stupid fuck. Have a heart.

RIP to the pilot

That's why I "conveniently" forget I'm a lifeguard when I go to the states.

Yup, all normal. I was just showing that the airport operations weren't affected.

Though oddly enough, I remember back when I lived in Richmond earlier this year, about a mile and a bit back from the threshold of 26R, they'd be launching heavies off of 08L right over my place starting at midnight or 1am, all the way until past 3am. I found it kind of strange and never really looked into it more.

There's always this one 727 that goes off of 08R every night at 2am or so. Wakes me up more often than not haha

The co-pilot died yesterday, due to his injuries. RIP

YVR crash co-pilot has died - News1130

Quote:
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - News1130 has learned the co-pilot in the October 27th crash at YVR has died in hospital. Matt Robic of Mission was 26-years-old.

Seven passengers and two crew members were in the small plane when the Northern Thunderbird Air Beach King Air 100 crashed on Russ Baker Way. Two people who were on the ground were also hurt.

Robic had been in the ICU with burns to 80 per cent of his body; he died last night.

He is the second person to die as a result of the crash. Pilot Luc Fortin died just hours after the plane went down. He was from North Vancouver.

Sad to hear that both the pilot and co-pilot didn't make it. They go as heroes who did everything they could to save everyone on that flight.
