Wait... you don't want to use cardboard, because then you'd have to find somewhere to store it... what do you think you're going to do with the car cover when you take it off? Or were you just going to drive around with it still on?

Heck, even our '96 Grand Caravan had heated mirrors.

I saw a project something like 25 years ago that added a pipe looping through the washer-fluid tank and tapped into the cooling system to let the coolant warm up the washer fluid. I believe there are electric heaters you can get to add in to existing washer tanks, too.

^ bitch please, 1987 Toyota Celica had heated mirrors.

My windshield has a crack in it that runs along right above the defroster vent, it happened after I parked but I assume some snow fell on it when it was still hot and bam, cracked glass.

Some cars have them, yet most don't. If you can retrofit them, they are fantastic. I always hated scraping mirrors, cause most scrapers are too big for the mirrors, or you change the mirror a bit then have to re-adjust.

I usually put beach towels over my windshield and rear window at night or whenever i park my car. All i gotta do in the morning is take those towels n put em back in the garage to dry. Warm up my car for about a min or so and BAM good to go!

start my car --> take out scraper ---> walk around your vehicle to do a simple inspection and to admire your own car ---> light up a smoke --> scrape

good to go

i realized i gave my ice scrapers away to my mom and sister and didn't plan to keep one in my car because i dont' drive in the winter but i was late for work and decided to drive.

well the only thing i had my house that could scrape it was a plastic yellow ruler, and it worked fucking awesomely. i mean my hands got cold, but i'm not a bitch

If you're in desperate need for a scraper of some sort, open your wallet. Just use a credit/debit card, your license, whatever.

I've used it before, but the ruler covers a lot more area than a credit card. I'm keeping that ruler in my car over the winter
