Christmas Gifts 2011

So what are you guys doing/making/buying for your SO this year?

Last year I made her a giant tall picture frame with a photoshopped facebook chat log of all of her friends saying happy birthday with a small message.

Year before that was a box of around 160 2x4" cards with reasons of why i love being with her so she can open one each day.

Still thinking about this year, what about you guys?

if i gave her 160 i love you cards, one for each day she'd prob puke, but hey whatever works for you guys.

im taking her to her first canucks game and cooking xmas dinner
last year we went to the dirty apron cooking classes. i like gifts that we can enjoy together.

i was quoting the OP about the 160 cards..

My SO hasn't been to a canucks game either so that's not a bad idea! might have to rethink my gift ideas! (+1 thank for you)

^yup i know i was just adding to your sentiment about the cards :D

+1

anyone know where I can find a bow? :alonehappy:

Matlock 11-30-2011 04:23 PM

Might either make something cool like a painting or something (made a munny that I sculpted ontop of and painted before) which would cost less $$$$ and more time or just spend all $$$$ and no time and buy some jewelry.

Last year I got her one of those Tiffany & Co bracelets, which are good to give since you can always buy charms to add on as future gifts. I was waiting for help at the store while all the other women were just standing around looking at shit and as soon as I got help I bought it and bam, I was out in less than 5 minutes. Shop like a man.

The gift that keeps on giving? Or the cheapest thing you could find? :troll:

I'm gonna stick a bow on my head and let him put it anywhere he wants...

Gf loves American Apparel clothing so I took her to the warehouse sales a few weeks ago and told her to go to town. Bought a bunch of stuffs but wasnt expensive.

Also gives her a Playbook today.

Buying gifts on sales:alonehappy:

My gf has this vast, crazy knowledge and love for random, useless facts and trivia so I got her a book called "The Book of Facts". Simple, easy, cheap.

I already spend a fuck tonne of money on myself, so Christmas is just a joke for me.
Family is all on vacation too so I won't see them. Just get to spend some good quality time with grandparents and cousins.

Maybe Canucks tickets or a night up in Whistler :alonehappy:
