lordco is a fucking joke how badly they fuck over basically everyone that walks in there, i worked there for 2 years and got to know exactly how the system worked

back in my prime of building my car i bought a stage 2 ACT triple puck clutch, if the average person walked in, grabbed it off the shelf, and paid for it it would have been $1325

after employee discount my total was $590 with taxes.

i tried to use the RS account and they always tell me it does not exist... are they lying to me? lol

I just got quoted $336 for fog lights at Lordco... I almost spit out the gum i was chewing. Anyone have any suggestions as to where i can get a good quality fog light kit for an 07 Civic Si? (FG2)

try the sponsor mfrt,they had fogs for 180 installed

what do you expect tho? its not like we buy 1000 sets for the warehouse when we know places like g5, mfrt, beez racing, ebay etc will get more of the business. our buying power is low on certain things, and some people arent as educated in others when it comes to looking around at what shops to purchase from. sorry dood.

and ya, markup on some stuff is an absolute joke. act is a good example, piaa too.

I just ordered the exact same thing for 65 bucks, I would be willing to pay ~150 in a store, but 5x markup just isn't acceptable... AND that was after getting a markdown.

im not sure how that store was run, but my manager has always told me to sell performance stuff like act clutches n headers n stuff for level 7 just cuz of the huge markups on it and the competition for sales.

do not get me started about Lordco.... I do not like how they do business overall.

One Story...

back in 06, I was working on my eclipse. I was searching for an AFC Neo. MSRP was 429.99 on apex'i website.
I go to the burnaby location attached to the warehouse. ask for it, they have it next door. ask the price.... they first asked for account. I didnt have one at the time... then he said.. $650. I was shocked... and looked appalled at his price. I said that was wayyyyyy to much. he then gave me a smug look and said, well the retail price is $860.00, $650 is a great deal without an account.

I told him I could get it directly from Apexi without a discount for 430. And he thought i was BSing him. From that day forward, I refused to deal with lordco unless it was under my friends Carter Honda account. Holy flipped shyt. Lordco is the biggest crooks I have ever seen. 90% of their crap is double MSRP and trying to argue price is like talking to a brain washed drone.

You cant buy a new Honda Civic MSRP $22,000. and sell it to someone else asking $44,000 just cause you ordered it for them, or luckily had it in your warehouse FFS.

ya, i was always told to sell most if not all performance at lv7.

i would never get anything performance at lordco. prices are ridiculous. only regular maintenance stuff or stock replacement.

Used the revscene discount the other day at lordco @ stillcreek burnaby location. 30% off.

I only go to lordco for random bits and pieces like clamps, bolts for exhaust if they break during install, batteries if its like 11 pm and theres no where else to get a piece I need to get the job done

I had my dad pickup a roll of 3M tape for me while he was in Vancouver. Told him to use my level 7 account, he didn't. Paid full list price of $86 for a roll of 3M tape :rukidding:
