MG1 12-17-2011 03:29 PM

^ never hurts to ask. There are RS members out in the valley.

Two years ago, it would have been possible, when I lived in North Langley.

bloodline129 12-17-2011 03:33 PM

Ye that would be better ^^ I might just end up crashing here. Wouldn't mind being in my bed though :( thx anyways. Enjoy your holidays

No. I would like MG1 to keep both hands on the wheels while operating a automobile.

tiger_handheld 12-17-2011 04:55 PM

also what would be cool is (but probably wont happen ) if another RS member lets another RS member crash at their house for the night...

RS helping each other out, one member at a time..

We don't have the capacity to handle your friends and family and coworkers and that dude that you met at that party that one time who was totally awesome so you because Facebook friends with but never saw again in person.

While we're sympathetic to their situations, we can't handle that kind of volume. We're not a free taxi service for anyone coherent enough to dial or text my number.

We're here for you Revscene. You and you alone. :drunk:

LSF22 12-17-2011 10:42 PM

Could it be... 2nd straight clean day....

Stay safe out there guys!

MG1 12-18-2011 12:25 AM

I was hoping the dude from White Rock would give some more details. It may have been possible. LSF22, you live in Richmond. You may have been able to pick him up and bring him to let's say Queensborough and I could have driven him the rest of the way to Poco. If he had a car with him, it would have been a bit of a challenge. We need one more person from the Richmond area to volunteer, so places south of Richmond can be covered. The other two volunteers and myself are in North Burnaby and East Vancouver. A person or two in Surrey would be nice.

has anyone here actually used 321-cock?

Your mother has :fullofwin:

MG1 12-18-2011 04:49 PM

So, operation red nose Revscene version is on till evening of January the 2nd. I am available most of those nights.

Anymore volunteers? Even if it's for one or two nights.......

LSF22, BaBiE_Bee, and dr.funk, I will get the decals made up. It will just be the usual Revscene logo with the words "Designated Driver" below. The only difference is, the window decals will be made of gold or brushed aluminum material - your choice. I think Revscene decals in those colours are rare.

dr.funk 12-18-2011 04:52 PM

Sweet! Been waiting for the first call!

MG1 12-18-2011 06:05 PM

I just got PM from another RS member who wanted to help out, but did not have a vehicle, atm. That's cool. As long as you have a valid drivers license and not an "N" or "L" designation, and you are not prohibited from driving for whatever reason, we can use you.

BTW, driving my daughter home this evening, I mentioned my problem with a name for operation red nose. She goes, "Why not REVS?" I'm like, :seriously:. She then explains that it is a ???? (cannot remember the term)........ REVS standing for Revscene Emergency Vehicle Service.

I'll come up with something in the way of a decal for tomorrow.

spideyv2 12-18-2011 06:08 PM

^ask your daughter to be a volunteer :troll:

She doesn't drive. Also, I don't like discussing family on RS. For obvious reasons...............

carisear 12-18-2011 06:53 PM

REVS? an Acronym?

i think she deserves an award for coming up with such a witty name! tell her to come out one day to get a reward from me!

:megusta:

j/k old man, please don't take offense and bore with to death with stories starting with 'in my youth ...'
