Cold room on 2nd

Hey,

on the 2nd floor of my parents house there is one room thats very cold hoping u guys have some suggestions on how to warm
up the room i took some pictures the bottom of the room is fully insulated don't know about the other walls

Doesn't matter if it's insulated cause they used soffit material to cover the insulation. Now there's (cold) air circulating under the floor.

so if i use some sort of vapour barrier to keep the air out of there would that solve some of the problem??

vapor barrier

Vapor seal it with that plastic stuff. Then seal it up. Should stop cold air from getting in.

you can do a vapour barrier, or best would be to do a layer of exterior grade drywall under the insulation....but make sure the vented soffit is a couple inches below the board
