BTW, this PVR the motorolla DCX-3400 is freakin awsome, i cant belive how much more it can hold than my older silver motorolla PVR which was like $800 4 years ago lol

my dad called customer service this morning and they asked him for our address and said we can switch the box and that was it.
Got a free upgrade to 50Mbps for no extra cost  ... now on hold and waiting online to get my router function turned off... lets see which one is faster.

Telus is god-awful, their guide is painfully slow and their box/remote combo is absolutely horrible, unless your sitting directly in front of the box the remote will not work, Bell is basically the same as Shaw but with the downsides of sattelite

She's upset with the channels, old basics like Spike wasn't included and the bill is around $45 after the frist 6 months. She's saying it's not worth it. Plus I can't add just a single channel, I have to add the entire pack.

I called and they wouldn't switch my sd box for an hd one. Best they would do was take $55 off of an hd/hdpvr if i turn in the sd box (DCT700 if anyone was wondering)

Just want to say that I bought a HDPVR (dcx3400) for $98 from shaw at the aberdeen chinese new year thing. Digital Forum - View Single Post - After 'Shaw Secret Sale' discussion thread <- some info here, doesn't list the price. But you can also buy the gateway with 2 portal rentals for $148 at that event

they'll look up the notes on their acc.. they write notes for each call even for minor things such as changing the phone #
