Any thoughts on the Samsung 51" 3d 1080p 600hz plasma at bb/fs for 699?

Asked the guy if I should line up, but he said I shouldn't need to and I can just show up at 6am for store opening and I should be fine. I don't know if I should believe him.

Anyone heading out to FS Lansdowne? Wonder if I should go at like 5 or try my luck at other stores in the morning for an xbox... Wonder what kinda demand there will be for them

Dunno about any of the other locations but I've done the Langley location for the past couple years. Both years in a row we lined up at FS to buy a couple door crashers then made our way to NCIX. Even though we got there a couple hours prior to the store opening, we were still roughly 15-20th in line.

Richmond/Vancouver might be different, however.

I talked to Livestock on friday and they confirmed that it will be the same boxing day stock as past years. Basically its all of the sale and clearance stuff that is not usually on the sales floor, they will be giving more mark downs and some flat rates (ie, tees for $20, kicks for $50, $80, $100). Some of the stock is more recent while others are left overs from years past.... Still worth a look if you want some "new" gear.

Staples has the normal X-Box for 99.99 I believe? Unless it was a typo.

And I doubt they will sell out any time soon. Every single store that sells Xbox or PS3s are selling at the same price.
