Here's a good example of a Cheap wheels ruining a perfectly good car.

He bought this car, looking like this.

And managed to fuck it up, by throwing on shit wheels.

His excuse?

For the same price as a new set of XXR's or whatever, you could find used Works/SSR/Volks, and they'll look 100 times better.

Lol that's a faggy comment and he has pretty poor taste in matching his wheels with his car, but I don't know where you could locally find a set of works/volks locally (with ease) for $400-500 in decent condition

I think for every example of cars "ruined" by cheap wheels you can find just as many (if not more) of cars that look good with cheap wheels. Not arguing that a set of volks/works wouldn't look better though just trying to be fair.

You CAN find decent used wheels for the price of a new set of XXR's, but if they aren't beat to shit, the width/offset/style is not going to be great. The occasional diamond in the rough does come up.

Guy with the comment is a stupid prick and is probably covering up for the fact he can't park without curbing his wheels.

i bought my watanabe rs for $200 a set. crappy fitment, 14x6 20+ offset. a 15x9, 15x7.5 set with -39 and 0 offset would run almost $2000 used! and would need refinishing

Araaadi, what car do you drive? Im assuming its an 8thGen civic..

I had 962s before and they could look amazing depending on car and style. Just make sure you get the right wheel/tire size. Generally speaking certain wheels will look better on specific cars so Research and do Comparisons on for any wheel/mod.

Also look into the XXR 526 in 18x9

As for that 240 man thats just a bad combo..

Yepp 8th gen civic coupe in taffetta white.

Im pretty dead set on the 527's. Im leaning towards chromium black in 17 x 8.25 + 35, with 17 x 8.25 + 25 on the rear. Or maybe just +25 or + 35 all around, I am gladly open to suggestions and comments because I am very new at this.

Maybe you can try on my xxr's and see how they fit. Then you'll know which offset you'll want.
