Everyone and their grandmas are holding these coupons at Zellers. I went after work and bought a desk lamp for $5... couldn't find any big ticket items I really needed.

Went today and checked out the toys. Selection is shit, but I'm not too surprised. Didn't find anything in the store I wanted. I think the Abby location was even accepting these coupons for some electronics, but even their electronics suck.

lol the cashier lady was talking about how this woman shows up and buys some $300 kitchenware thing with the 50% off, and now she is motivated to get great deals after work :lol

I bought a nerf gun, I'm going back tomorrow to get more darts! Or maybe the sniper rifle... I already slightly altered the gun I bought today :lol

Planning to buy a Microwave.. You guys see any good deals there? :D

Price match BB's price for the first $100 off - then apply 50% off - $600 vacuum for $250.

I think the gf will go through with a kitchen aid mixer...

Price match CT's price for first $200 off - then apply 50% off - $500 mixer for $150.

I think you're going to be disappointed.

First of all, very few people have found Dysons still available at Zellers. I haven't heard of any reported in the GVRD, but I would suspect even if there were some, they'd be all gone by now.

Secondly, it's almost just as unlikely you'll still find the Kitchen Aid Mixer. This seems to have been one of the most purchased items with the coupon, and it's long gone from most, if not all, locations.

Maybe I'll get lucky..

I live in Abbotsford, lower population than pretty much anywhere in the GVRD, so they shouldn't sell out as quickly, if they're not available, I have a back up plan.

You sure can. Some people have just gone to different cashiers on the same trip. One near my work has upstairs and downstairs cashiers which makes it even easier.

The jig is up... at least for the ridiculous deals.

Zellers has sent out an official correction for the coupon which states that it can only be used on regular priced items now. No more 50% on top of sale prices...

The only mixer zellers has that i saw was the Kitchen Aid classic mixer, which is the shittiest one, and its at original price of 299.99. So 149.99 still isn't that good of a deal for a classic mixer. We've had some specials at work for the Artisan which is a higher wattage better mixer for 299.99 + 50 Mail in rebate + I believe 220 bucks of money cards. With all that said, the Breville stand mixer is still a better mixer, it has a higher wattage the standard kitchen aid series, until you go to the Kitchen aid Pro series. Plus it also looks better and is quieter. Average price for the breville is 349.99, and it was also on promotion before for 349.99 + free Breville Hand stick mixer (like 129.99), also seen it gone down to I believe 249.99

That sucked, I don't normally shop at Zellers, but I expected they would have slightly similar products to the Bay. Guess not. No dysons, no good mixers, and it looked like a tornado blew through the store with stuff lying all over the place. Ended up getting a hamilton beach SS microwave for $55.

There was a young mom ahead of me in line, she didn't have the coupon, so I passed her my phone with the it up on the screen. The cashier was not amused.

I never understood why most cashiers have got to make everything so difficult for shoppers. Its not like its your personal money when the discounts are taken from, and its not illegal or a scam and its not like they have to go out of their way to process it either.

You still can. Going in an hour to get some. This coupon is still good for regular priced items.

Dec 29th just got Gillette Fusion Proglide 8 pack for $34.99-17.50 + HST 2.10 = $19.59

Gave an extra coupon to a girl looking at bed sheets and she already had one and but was happy to use it for another item.

apparently today zellers changed their rules and u can’t get 50% off SALES items

What made the Kitchen Aid mixer a good deal was that it was on sale for 189.99. Then stacking the 50% off coupon on top making it $90.

But now for 149.99 it doesn't seem so hot anymore.
