Just got back from Brentwood Zellers. Got some whiskey glasses. It seemed a lot quieter today.

I bought a 750g brick of Armstrong cheese for $5.xx - anything less than $1/100g is a good price.

You really can't jack up the price of stuff like milk, eggs and cheese.

Zellers didnt have anything that i could use it on so i went to bed bath and beyond and picked up a vaccuum with the coupon. I wanted the kitchenaid mixer but it wasnt the same model.

i went yesterday as well, and had no problems. been to richmond and oakridge, and the cashiers have been super nice. I specifically asked how many people used coupons vs mobile phones, and he said the majority of people used iphones.

You must've gotten a cranky old bitter cashier. try another one!

how can they say no to the phone coupon? it says in the fine print its okay?

Which one did you go to? i went to the lansdowne location to buy my toaster oven and the lady said that they only do print outs because they have to collect it. I left assuming she was right. As i was walking away i reread the coupon and it says "or display it to the cashier on your smartphone at the start of the sale" so unless she can show you a correction letter, she cant refuse to honor the coupon.

edit: i forgot to mention that i went back to get my toaster oven and paid at another cash register. showed it on my phone and had no issues

i just got home from the richmond location. bought a few things nothing huge and i showed my phone and they didnt say anything about it?
