Didn't some lawyers or something In Hong Kong also state that there is no law there to prevent people of taking photos as long as your on City Property. I mean it's not like they walked into the store and took pics they are just standing outside on Canton Road. Meh |
Wait so only certain people can take pictures or is everyone banned from doing so? |
Stupid fucking hongers. Go protest about something else goddam hipsters P.s. im from hk so yuck fou Posted via RS Mobile |
I just came back from there this holiday season. Stayed at the Marco Polo right where this action takes place. Canton Rd was ridiculous! 30 Mainlanders per line up per name brand store. I was gonna buy some Ferragamos but if I'm spending $700CAD I want someone to lick my dick while I shop, not herd me like cattle. |
On 8 Jan 2012, local newspapers reported that the rationale behind the photo 'ban' was not about protecting intellectual property rights of the brand but to prevent wealthy government officials from Mainland China from being photographed, as the brand's goods should be too expensive for their salaries as government officials, which may lead to accusation of bribery by anti-corruption authorities in China. |
Eh? hong kong, FOB, mainlander? WTF is the difference isn't it all CHINALAND? Is this a case of Richmond rage I am confused... |
Semi off topic, but is this the same road where the Filipino nannies/maids etc sit down to have lunch on Sundays? Also, why do the Filipino house staff start holding their weekly lunch at those streets -- was it an Occupy-type reason? |
Couple of dudes dropping brand names...don't recognize any of them :fuckyea: I'm poor. |

Also, I need to line up outside in the scorching HK summer heat to just get in? :fuckthatshit: |
So the Mainlander part China is raging that the Hongy FOB portion of China is too classy is this what it's about? Also Hongy China D&G is excluding themselves from picture taking and so it's raging at itself? Thought it was "HK" china that was raging can someone straighten this out? Who is doing the rage? |
Talk about a PR nightmare... |
ppl like zyzz and hyde is why i dont like going back to HK anymore, they're worse than the mainlanders OT saw this on the news last night another reason why i dont like HK anymore people make a big deal out of nothing -_- "dont take pictures of our store" WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH RIOT!!!!! D&Gs reaction isn't too surprising either... sticking with that suck up euro attitude (even though its run by hongers) and just saying "fuck you, we're closed" its been a long time but im guessing customer service in these places has gone to shits i remember places like Lane Crawford used to be insanely nice |

Semi off-topic, But what's the legality of taking photos inside the shop? |

I see no reason to say that you bought a D&G jacket for over 10,000 hkd and claim you are not in the least bragging about. Not to mention listing your location as mid-levels hk, as if you need to tell people your well off. Fucking idiot. I should list my location as the peak. D&G makes fucking shitty ass clothes too btw. Have fun with your jacket. |
Zyzz is my hero. |
Start at 1:07 This mainland honger thing is just like the Surrey Delta thing. Delta is just across the street from Surrey but if you tell them that's Surrey all hell breaks lose. |

I went there last summer and it felt like I was stuck inside a fancy Walmart on Black Friday. :heckno: |
The thing with mainlanders in HK is the same thing that that we went through with hongers in the GVRD. |
