Menu looks SUPER old school italian though. I dig it, but seems it could be a little more exciting considering the prices.

Make sure to have the white chocolate phyllo dessert...I hoarded them at my reception, lol.

Most of the more popular places were booked up last week for the AMEX holders.

If water street cafe is the same as it was 3 years back.
Long wait times for your entrees' (seriously, a long wait) if its' moderately busy, due to sheer kitchen size (one person - app and 2 ppl entree/fry)
Not to mention, food quality standards. I'd stay away if its' the same owner. A heads up.

You get to see the menu a few days ahead of the public release date of Jan 9th.
You can make a reservation for a day that falls during dine out at the place you want to go before the menus are out, lots of people do this when they know that the menu will be similar to last year's, e.g. Chambar

To those asking about:
La Terrazza, use to come here for work parties and did dine out here once. Great atmosphere but food is average IMO
Water St Cafe, terrible terrible service and quality of food. Will never go back.
