Yeah, same here, until I realized I was leaving teethmarks in pieces. Couldn't stand that so I kept patiently digging at them with nails. My nails got all sorts of fucked up when I was a kid. Good times.

RabidRat 04-13-2012 02:19 PM

I'm not sure about that, my 5 year old loves it and gets my mom and his aunts to buy it for him. I sure a hell didn't sway him to get into it I hate stepping on it when he leaves pieces laying around.

Benz_05TSX 04-16-2012 12:36 PM

no more going to Bellveue for Legos!!

Pooface55 04-16-2012 12:44 PM

Don't know how these kids can afford it nowadays. The bigger sets are so expensive.

It's basically a rewards program where you collect points based on your purchases. It works out to 5% off for every $100 you spend, but there can be bonuses.

Sky_High 04-16-2012 02:06 PM

did you have to spend an X amount before getting it?

Tegra_Devil 04-16-2012 02:16 PM

my brother and i never used the sets properly.....we just made madmax style derby cars and crashed them into each others on the kitchen floor to see who could prevail longest

Nope, it's free to join, and you start collecting points immediately.

TOS'd 04-16-2012 02:37 PM

Best part was making full size rubber band guns and running around the house shooting at each other. Or building targets to shoot at.

Dragon-88 04-16-2012 04:10 PM

I have something similar but it shoots lego pellets and is spring activated..

skyxx 04-16-2012 04:45 PM

Yep, I got my VIP card in Bellevue Lego store. It works throughout the world where LEGO stores are.
