Fuck it. I'm gonna go build a fully functional 1:1 Death Star with my son on the weekend. |
got the last box of toy story army men at superstore :fuckyea: thx for the tip Gumby  |
Went by Oakridge today around 3pm and the lineup to get into the store was estimated at 2 hours... |
FML..got to oakridge at 9...didnt make it inside by 12..had to go lunch with family.ughh oh well the Giant R2D2 is cool tho |
I know someone who lined up at 9:30am and didn't get into the store until 3pm... CRAZY! |
I went there on wednesday and I didn't experience any lengthy wait times. Was it all because of the grand building thing? The store itself is incredible. I love that they have displays and they have a really awesome selection. I also love the individual brick sales. Reminds me of a candy store. I grew up without lego(mom bought me a shitty mega blocks set, the pieces never fitted properly) So it was quite nostalgic and a bit of a downer aswell to witness what could have been... |

GF picked up the mini modular building set at closing. Got lucky and got a minifigure set as well! |

rather have no lego than mix and matched fake lego. The store is pretty cool I went last week when it was relatively quiet and the sales ppl are so nosy. Honestly though I don't remember lego being so expensive, especially the pick your own piece cans, I remember my pail of random lego pieces being cheap enough for asian parents to buy... |
nosey sales people? :suspicious: |

if its FAKE like cheap knockoffs... then really, thats just... common sense. U get what you pay for Purchasing Lego in Canada is expensive..especially for those Modular Sets... the VIP points dont really do much, u get $5 for every $100 on it. Unless you are looking for the big ticket/hard to find stuff. I think I can use my Lego VIP card in the US as well..not as many "points" but i rather save $50 ahah ToysRUs, Zellers, Walmart and RCSS will have sales. |
went to the Lego store recently. might get the Lego 42000 grand prix racer the mini cooper looks not bad either |
Bought this last week... Hello Mr. Realtor!! :laughatself: http://cache.lego.com/e/dynamic/is/i.../850425?$main$ |

lego plastics are of higher quality than megablocks. stepped on a lego......... not a scratch on the brick along with dat pain. step on megablock.... cracked it, still in pain. |
